VIDEO: In Bed with Elmgreen and Dragset

I’m sad to have missed this incredible exhibition last fall at London’s V&A Museum by Elmgreen & Dragset. They transformed an entire wing into a fictional aging architect named Norman Swann’s home, where they showed some of their own artworks as well as works from the permanent collection. Visitors could rifle through Swann’s things, sit on his couch, while having an up-close look at the art. This type of innovative exhibition design gets me really excited, and inspires me to try to do something above and beyond when I curate my own shows.
