This is my absolute FAVORITE Picasso piece ever- Moulin de la Galette. As you can see its not very Picasso-y (which is why I love). It is an early work made when he was 19, and went to Paris for the first time for the 1900 World’s Fair. Its young and naive and shows his awe at decadent Parisian nightlife.

It’s part of the permanent collection at the Guggenheim, so next time you’re there check it out.
