Sol LeWitt Panel Discussion at Paula Cooper

Sol LeWitt is one of those artists whose work doesn’t really move me, but I love what he stands for in art history. However, his recreated Wall Drawing #564: Complex forms with color ink washes superimposed, originally displayed at the Venice Biennale in 1988, at Paula Cooper Gallery makes me understand others’ awe of him a little more. In my “fall means get smarter” mind set, I’m excited about a free panel discussion at the gallery tomorrow night. Unfortunately I’ll be in Chicago- so let me know how it is!

Panel Discussion: Sol LeWitt “Wall Drawings” a conversation with Ann Temkin, Beatrice Gross, Jock Reynolds, John Hogan at Paula Cooper Gallery
22 street: 521 W 21 street, RSVP, 7-8pm
