About Max Fish:

Since opening in 1989, Max Fish has remained a staple in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. It has earned a loyal following and solid reputation thanks to founder Ulli Rimkus’s vision and commitment to making the bar a haven for artists whose work has historically lined the walls. It has also drawn celebrities and local neighborhood heroes since the early ’90s. Max Fish plans to move to Williamsburg, Brooklyn in August.
