The second major paint session at the Miami Marine Stadium for the ARTHistory Mural Project brought together Crash, Tristan Eaton, Ron English, Logan Hicks, The London Police, Jose Mertz, Johnny Robles, and Reinier Gamboa for a weekend of non-stop work on the historic venue’s concrete walls. Martha Cooper — the award-winning photojournalist whose documentation of New York City’s graffiti scene in the 1970s and 80s became the defining visual record of that era — joined the artists as they transformed the stadium. Videographer Tom Akerman shot footage for a short film about the project.
