Art Nerd New York | Los Angeles

Hey Artists! Would you like to get your artwork seen by influentials and support an amazing cause?? The biggest names in the Los Angeles art scene are coming together for MANIFEST:JUSTICE large-scale pop-up art exhibition, cultural convening, and community organizing event – May 1-10, 2015! Political affiliations aside, my heart goes out to every family of any race/color that’s had a loved one taken from them from the police’s overuse of deadly force and poor judgement. This is one way we can all come together and support a timely and worthy cause in America. Read on for more details and follow the link to submit your work ASAP!

Join an amazing roster of artists from across the globe who are using their talents to amplify and motivate the grass roots movement to fight for social justice for ALL Americans. Together we will illuminate the ongoing conversations surrounding justice, human rights, safety, and equality of access to opportunity – lifting our voices, asserting our power and manifesting a healthy and sustainable future.

Submit your work on our contest’s four themes: JUSTICE, HUMAN RIGHTS, POWER, ACTION. Artworks (new or existing) that resonate on any one, or all of these themes, will be considered for inclusion (click on the icons for more information on each of the themes):

5 WINNERS will be selected to exhibit their artwork at MANIFEST:JUSTICE in Los Angeles next to artists such as: Andrea Bowers, Swoon, Shepard Fairey, Hank Willis Thomas, Robbie Conal, Sandow Birk, Lyle Ashton Harris, Sanford Biggers, Geoff McFetridge, Kyp Malone, Favianna Rodriguez, Eric Fischl, and hundreds more. Additionally, 10 Second Prize winners will join the MANIFEST:JUSTICE online gallery.

Please be sure to read the rules and regulations closely and GOOD LUCK!
