Cinespia Returns With Graveyard Movies

In case you didn’t know, Cinespia hosts movie screenings every summer…in a graveyard! Yup, that’s right. Hollywood Forever Cemetery, right in the middle of LA, boasting such tombstones as┬áJohnny Ramone, Cecil B. DeMille, Jayne Mansfield, and Rudolph Valentino. Each Saturday night from May until September, screenings of movies ranging from cult-classic to art-house are shown on one of the lawns, with the films projected on the back side of the cemetery’s main building. Dressing up in accordance with the featured film is encouraged; so is bringing a picnic blanket and a few bottles of wine. Alcohol is sold on-site, local art is hawked, and everyone generally has a good time together. If you’re a true Art Nerd, there are few better places to bring your sketch book! June films include Some Like It Hot, Pulp Fiction, Princess Bride, and The Man Who Knew Too Much.
