Artists Row at LA Times Festival of Books!
Get ready for this weekend’s LA Times Festival of Books – one of the premiere book festivals in the country, drawing over 150,000 attendees. For the first time they have added an Artists Row to its lineup! Artist’s Row will feature six emerging artists – five selected by LA Times arts writer Deborah Vankin and one selected by the public through the online voting contest “Inspire Us.” Tomorrow (April 12) from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m the six artists will be creating work live on-site over the weekend sparked by the Festival’s “Inspire Your Fire” theme. It’s a nod to the Southland’s thriving fine art community. See you #artnerds there this weekend 😀

Deb and I both agree that Essi Zimm is artist to watch out for in LA as her work is colorful, provocative and Zimm has penchant for memorable opening invites. We both received these amazing invites for her last exhibition at prohibitiongallery.com and we still talk about them to this day.
DevNGosha: Devin Liston and Gosha Levochkin, a mural artist team that will be creating pieces live on-site over the weekend sparked by the Festival’s “Inspire Your Fire” theme.
