JR's @InsideOutProj Coming to LA on Friday!!

Last updated · Los Angeles

French street artist JR’s award-winning TEDx project Inside Out took on a new dimension with the 11M campaign — a traveling photobooth that crossed the country to put human faces on America’s 11 million undocumented immigrants. The premise was direct: behind every statistic are individual stories, and the project aimed to build a portrait of America that includes immigrants and their descendants alike.

After stops in San Francisco earlier that week, the roving booth arrived in Los Angeles on Friday, August 9, 2013, hosted at the Society of St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Store in Lincoln Heights.

Participants could follow the project and get live updates via the Inside Out 11M Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook accounts.
