Just a couple blocks away is the ACME Hotel, a rightful destination in itself. Hotel des Artes– San Francisco

Simple, yet effective, the art becomes interactive, in the affordable, centrally located hotel.

Carlton Arms– New York

One of the first art hotels in New York City, the feel is a little bit rock n roll, with surviving murals by Brian Damage, who in the early 80s painted the hostel, as well as The Mudd Club, Studio 54 and Danceteria. Along with the vintage murals, the hotel regularly invites artists to create room installations, making 54 in all.

Hotel Max– Seattle

If you’re going to Seattle to check out the local art scene, then Hotel Max is where to start. The hotel celebrates emerging and established Seattle artists, and has amassed a collection of 350 paintings and photographs.

Le Meridien Chambers– Minneapolis

The country’s first luxury art hotel, Le Méridien Chambers Minneapolis features over 200 pieces of original contemporary art work from the private collection of the hotel’s owner Ralph Burnet. Discover many of these great pieces at the Minneapolis Burnet Art Gallery. Edgy and controversial pieces from the Young British Artist movement can be spotted throughout the hotel.
