Scout Bandanas

Better late than never, but there is a pop-up shop going down at the base of the Harbor Steps downtown that you should know about.  All month long, as it is that time of year, there will be some of Seattle’s most interesting vendors in fashion and lifestyle goods setting up week long temporary shops in the Alki Arts space on Western Ave.  This week’s theme is Man Cave, although to be honest this is a bit more of the sophisticated bachelor pad variety of vendors.

When I went to check out the selection I found handmade oxfords from Tarboo, stylish clothing and accessories including crazy awesome patterned socks at Zebra Club, and the perfect gift of designed objects from local makers selected by MakrBox.

Also included in the pop-up shop next to some of the best coffee I’ve had in Seattle, was the goods from local heritage outdoor goods inspired Scout-Seattle.  Check out these artful bandanas that are perfect to wrap around your neck or fashion into a turban.  Scout also makes canvas tents, quality folding knives, and waxed canvas cruiser jackets as well in collaboration with a variety of artists and craftsman.  My pick is the sea life inspired bandana, but I know a few folks that might gravitate towards the beautiful cannabis design.  Artwork by Philadelphia based artist Christopher Davidson.

This pop-up shop closes tomorrow, so get down to Alki Arts to catch it ASAP!
