VID: 15 Classes Reimagines a French School with optical illusions and art

Love this teaser video for the 15 Classes project taking over the Saint Joseph School in Saint-jean-de-Luz, featuring the work of our friend Remi Rough. Wish I could go!

15 CLASSES
A top secret project of a very different kind…

Arro Studio, L’Atlas, Etienne Bardelli, Stéphane Carricondo, Erico, Jerk45, Jeykill, Krsn, LX One, Clément Laurentin, Martina Merlini, Gilbert Petit, Remi Rough, Tanc and Teo Moneyless.

Curated by –

LX One (AOC) and Erwann Lameignère from Redux Magazine.

Fifteen artists have taken on a 4000 m2 area and have each appropriated one of 15 class rooms. The site will be demolished for new development in January 2016. “15 Classes” is a unique exhibition of artistic interventions in the former Saint Joseph School in the heart of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. The fifteen international artists were invited to bring their visions of optical art, kinetics and architectural transformation.
