Trailer Park @ Maker Faire

Trailer Park at Maker Faire

The only exhibit that didn’t disappoint me at this year’s Ideas City Festival – the New Museum’s waste management-themed block party – was Kim Holleman’s Trailer Park. Trailer Park is a nostalgic, ’70s-styled camper with a miniature, living, breathing park planted inside. Loved it. If you missed it, you can catch Trailer Park this weekend at the Maker Faire.

Presented by Disney, Maker Fair is an all-ages, forward-looking fair for tech/science/craft/art enthusiasts. It features examples of innovation and experimentation across the spectrum of science, engineering, art, performance and craft. And with more than 650 exhibits, it’s going to be pretty awesome!

Maker Faire runs September 21st and 22nd at the New York Hall of Science. For hours, ticket info and exhibition info, check out their website at www.makerfaire.com.
