The Crosby Hotel
Jaume Plesna‘s giant letter-heads are usually featured at some gallery or another- or in the lobby of a New York hotel. The Crosby was voted one of the best art hotels in 2009, and if the lobby is any indication, I believe it. The oddest piece though is what I thought was a fake hippie/earthly version of an Anselm Kiefer topped with some branches…but it turns out it really is a Kiefer- apparently he has a softer side?
At any rate, the lobby itself is like a mini gallery, and the rooms and drawing room is even more decadent.
