Sebastian Errazuriz’s Yawn In for #midnightmoment

Times Square’s #midnightmoment takes it to the next level tomorrow night for Sebastian Errazuriz’s piece for this month. Meet at 11:45 for a massive yawn-in that celebrates the art takeover of the famed advertising screens!


Artist and designer Sebastian Errazuriz’s A Pause in the City That Never Sleeps will turn into a special gathering in the middle of Times Square on Saturday, January 17th at 11:45pm in Duffy Square at Broadway and 46th Street. The artist will be onsite inviting visitors to join him in a massive yawn–in in concert with the piece being shown each night of January as part of MidnightMoment, a monthly presentation by The Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC) and Times Square Arts. In partnership with Performance Space 122’s COIL 2015 Festival, this event will take place on the last night of the festival.

Artist Sebastian Errazuriz, Director of Times Square Arts Sherry Dobbin, President of the Times Square Alliance Tim Tompkins and Artistic Director, Performance Space 122, COIL 2015 Festival Vallejo Gantner will all be available for interviews.

From 11:57pm to midnight each night over the month of January, a continuous yawn on loop is shown on Times Square’s electronic billboards as part of Midnight Moment, a monthly presentation by The Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC)and Times Square Arts.  This month’s presentation is in partnership with the Performance Space 122’s COIL 2015 Festival.
