SCOPE Art Fair Grows Up a Little- With a New Venue and New Director

SCOPE Art Fair is really upping its game this year for Miami, and we can’t wait to be a part of it. The first part of the new SCOPE: an awesome new venue, right on South Beach. The 70,000 square foot pavilion will be right at 10th and Ocean, and have an outdoor beach lounge (I always do say I don’t get to the beach enough while at art fairs- now no excuse!).  What else that means: less cabs! Woo hoo!

But on a more serious note, they’ve also fine tuned their curatorial muscle, bringing on Katelijne DeBacker, formerly the Director of the Armory Show, as the new Director of Exhibitor Relations. DeBacker’s appointment will fuse her 12 years of experience at the prestigious Armory Show with the edgy flavor of SCOPE, making for a beautiful partnership.

Congrats to SCOPE! We can’t hardly wait.
