San Francisco’s Spooky Sutro Baths

If you’re going to San Francisco, make sure you stop by the ruins of the Sutro Baths.  The bathhouse was the largest indoor swimming establishment in the world until it burned to the ground in the 1960s.  As part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, the ruins have been open to the public since 1973.  Rumor has it if you enter this tunnel at night and place a candle at the end, someone will pick it up and toss it into the ocean before you can get to the other side…
