Party at the iconic Philip Johnson Glass House

Philip Johnson’s Glass House- the Mid-Century Modernist paradise- opens its doors once a year for a unique fundraiser event. Push beyond the limits of the guided tour and party like Philip Johnson and his partner David Whitney once did, in a festive picnic for their Summer Party with champagne, music, eats and the most idyllic picnic setting one can imagine.  The foundation has also set up a Paddle8 auction with works by artists like Jeff Koons and Mickalene Thomas. The journey is super easy by train, which lets you off literally in front of the Glass House headquarters in New Canaan. Tickets are extremely limited, so grab your chance to experience this architectural gem like no other here.

I’ll have to find a way to crash the party, I guess…although not likely. Sigh, someday I’ll see it.
