New York Lights Light Up the Flatiron

Embrace the winter holiday season and stop by the iconic Flatiron building after work to view the dazzling New York Light installation. Designed by INABA, the glittering LED sculptural piece was the winner of the Van Alen Institute’s first ever Flatiron Plaza Holiday Design Competition. The LED lights are a tribute to the architectural gems that make this city magic-sitting on the plaza just south of the Flatiron, framing the gorgeous building on one side, and the Empire State Building facing north.

I love when art installations interact with the fabric of New York,  New York Light‘s crisp glow enhances the architectural vistas around Madison Square Park, making new ways to look at my beloved city.
