Moving Forward Pop-Up
Keep the heart warming goodness of Valentine’s Day going, and join The Triangle and MoMA for a unique pop up art exhibition that empowers artists with disabilities. Have a heart this weekend.
This Valentine’s weekend, Triangle collaborates with The Accessible Icon Project (AIP) to take New York by storm and to show the city that we are all people with ability.
Since 1971, Triangle has established itself as an innovative nonprofit dedicated to empowering people with disabilities and their families to enjoy rich, fulfilling lives.
As the Icon’s host, Triangle invites you to move forward and join us in celebrating a gallery opening in the world-renowned Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) when a new active, engaged International Symbol of Access opens in the exhibit “A Collection of Ideas.”
The MoMA exhibit launch will open with a pop-up gallery event on Saturday, February 15 from 5PM – 10PM at Ludlow Studios to connect the impact of disabilities perception and intersect the studio space with advocates, artists, students, writers, activists and inquisitors of all abilities. A reception will take place from 5PM – 8PM.
On Sunday, February 16th, we invite you to experience #RUSHTHEMOMA216, an AIP sponsored MoMA event to witness The Accessible Icon at the MoMA and have a chance to see the exhibit in the presence of the creators and AIP team themselves.
