MODERN ART DESSERTS

Most of you know of the Blue Bottle Coffee Bar and their now legendary art inspired desserts featured over at SFMOMA rooftop cafe.  Well, SFMOMA is closing for renovations until 2016 – so whats that mean… no desserts for 3 years? I think not.

Which is why I’ve been eagerly awaiting the release of BBC’s new book, Modern Art Desserts. Pastry Chef, Caitlin Freeman’s new video for the book release is so user friendly that one might be tempted to feel as if they could construct a Mondrian cake over the weekend. So I figured the book must be a breeze…right?

That statement is what I refer to as the Boss Ross Delusion. But hey, that Cindy Sherman Ice Cream Float looks like a breeze –  as soon as I find out where to purchase edible disco glitter.
