Kenny Scharf’s Roll Down Gates

Kenny Scharf is a New York institution! Aside from throwing awesome parties, being an awesome dude and a celebrated artist, Scharf has given back to ┬áthis great city, and gone on a quest to paint 100 roll down gates around the city with his signature cartoony goodness- turning the street into a gallery. Once the shops beneath are closed, Scharf’s surprise exhibition is revealed.

One of my favorites is this six-eyed purple mushroom cloud explosion.
