Goodbye My Love

Times Square Arts has brought a sculptural message of love to Anita’s Way- a fleet of Esterio Segura’s heart shaped airplanes. I once went to an amazing gala in this semi-covered walkway off Times Square, its a great place to duck out of the rain, and an unexpected above-ground tunnel that is enlivened with Segura’s art until May 14th.

Cuban artist Esterio Segura’s installation Goodbye My Love will be installed as part of Times Square Arts’ initiative to bring leading contemporary art to visitors of  Times Square. This installation is presented with the Cuban Artists Fund and chashama, and is supported by Rockefeller Brothers Fund.  Goodbye My Love, is a hanging outdoor installation of 12 planes made of heart-shaped bodies that reference the love found in contemporary relationships that often requires people to be separated from each other.
