Food inspired by Art- at the Art of Food at Sotheby’s this weekend

The Art of Food, February 4th at Sotheby’s, not only combines my favorite things (art and food!), but it’s also pretty inspiring. For the event, top chefs from some of the best restaurants in New York will each create dishes inspired by art curated by Sotheby’s, presented alongside the work- creating a sort of sensory mix for art nerds like me. Some of the artists chosen to inspire this year are Ed Ruscha, Yayoi Kusama, Christo, Jonas Wood, Gerhard Richter, Jeff Koons, Wayne Thiebaud, Alexander Calder, Sol LeWitt and Robert Rauschenberg, (and more). Tix include access to all of chefs’ creations, wine and spirits, and of course the art and party! Grab tix here see you there?
