Brooklyn Artists Ball Dance Party at Brooklyn Museum

Its awesome party season! Next Wednesday the Brooklyn Museum’s fifth annual Brooklyn Artists Ball returned with a night of art, dancing and eating. I’m a firm believer that combining art and events is a match made in heaven, and this party will include large-scale installations by Jen Catron & Paul Outlaw, FAILE, Fernando Mastrangelo, OLEK, Duke Riley, Situ Studio, Swoon and Dustin Yellin. It may be pricey, but it is the perfect event for you to get your boss to buy a table at.

I’m fancy but not THAT fancy, so will just be going to the Dance Party that starts at 10pm. Tickets for that are available here.

Join us for what has become one of the most engaging and unique ways to celebrate Brooklyn’s artists and support our many programs!

This year we’ll honor Arnold Lehman, Shelby White and Leon Levy Director of the Brooklyn Museum, and artists Jean-Michel Basquiat (represented by his family), Takahashi Murakami, and Kiki Smith.

And, in what has become a Museum tradition, you’ll dine among specially created environments by Brooklyn artists. This year features FAILE, Jennifer Catron & Paul Outlaw, Fernando Mastrangelo, Olek, Duke Riley, SITU Studio, Swoon, Dustin Yellin and Pioneer Works.

The evening also includes an artist auction powered by Artspace.
