BRIC Open (C)all Opening Night

Don’t miss tonight’s opening at BRIC for their inaugural Open (C)all, consisting of new and engaging work created by artists born, working or residing in Brookyn. Drawing from submissions placed in the organization’s online registry of artists, the BRIC contemporary artist registry (now in its 5th year online), this exhibit will consist of a panoply of works spanning 3-D, mixed media, painting, sculpture and new media. The opening lasts from 7-9 pm at BRIC House gallery, 647 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn.

An interesting component of the exhibit is that all exhibiting artists will also have their studio spaces represented digitally on-site to co-incide with the show’s theme, the artist’s studio. Artist Wendy Richmond has created an installation that gathers these images and presents them to the public as a means of centering and connecting the artists’ space with their finished piece.
