Audrey Cooper Ceramics – GET IT!

I am obsessed with Audrey Cooper’s ceramics!  Her pots are included in our current exhibition titled, Farmhaus & Friends, where local wood worker Ben McBrien from Farmhaus has installed a version of his dream home.  McBrien’s reclaimed wood  furniture is paired with pieces made by local Philly Friends, including Cooper’s beautiful new line of pottery that was made specifically for the show.  Each piece is made from wheel thrown porcelain and stoneware and fired with ash glazes that were made by burning wood scraps form Farmhaus’ studio and applied in combination with commercial glazes.  The results are stunning – flashes of metallic glaze line the edges or drip down the sides of the simple forms.  The pots are rustic yet rich in texture and feel amazing in your hand.  Farmhaus’ signature rooster is stamped on the surface of each piece.  GET IT and enjoy the simple pleasures of life from one of these incredible bowls – cups and plates will be added to the site soon too!  Prices range from just $28-$35 a piece, which in my opinion is a steal!
