Art Nerd New York | Los Angeles

We has a crush on Paul Loya Gallery [IMAGES]

One of my favorite galleries in LA is Paul Loya. He shows one of Art Nerd NY’s fav’s Tom Fruin who will have a special project at SCOPE Miami Beach next month.  We also learned that Loya has a group show coming up in December featuring our buddy Gordon Holden!!  So… we had to share image of the current show “New paintings by Dimitri Drjuchin” because that looks great too and is up through Dec. 7th, 2013! Go and we’ll see you a the next opening in December 🙂

New paintings by Dimitri Drjuchin
November 2nd – Dec. 7th, 2013
Opening Reception: November 2nd, 6 – 9 Pm

Paul Loya Gallery is proud to present Dimitri Drjuchin’s 4th solo show, Saturday Morning TetraTome: New paintings by Dimitri Drjuchin

Take three deep breaths and put your blindfolds on, pass through the crystal matrix into the Akashic field, pierce the veil of maya, remove your shoes and enter the TetraTome: Boundless machine elves puffing into existence a cascading, hyper constant, heavy hertz flow of new new new new new. Here everything you forgot to remember is staring at you right in your, finally unfiltered-higher dimensional, face. TetraTome TetraTome TetraTome. This is where the real work is being done. This is where your thoughts create the perfect most sacred artifact that can bridge the gap between what we imagine and what is. The philosophers stone is what the walls are made of. Hilarious hairy blue beasts, sad driven heroes, multi-eyed creatures and off duty space fabric repair buds are colliding in the collapse of the Time Wave – squishing, milking and helping each other during this time of great dimensional occulation and pertrubation.
Thank god someone knows how to use this shit.

Dimitri Drjuchin is an artist living in Brooklyn New York. He was born in Moscow but grew up in three of the five boroughs of New York City, reading comic books, listening to loud music, and doodling in text books. This is his fourth solo show.
