See, Hear & Wear Art This Weekend

There is too much art and not enough time in my Saturday.  This weekend there is artisanal shopping at Eastside Handmade; Eating, Drinking and Art(ing) at Barnsdall Art Park; and arias at the Bowtie with Clockshop.  Sensory overload.

The end-of-summer Eastside Handmade Market at Shopclass in Highland Park offers a tasty selection of local artisanal wares. Curated by the lovely Sheryl Cancellieri in collaboration with the folks at Shopclass, Eastside Handmade has become my market fave.  Its tightly selected collection of ceramics, photography, jewelry and home decor nails it every time.  There is not a dud in the bunch.  Pick up a hand dyed bag from Le Renard or a ceramic piece from Jen King.  Swing into El Huarache Azteca on your way out for and horchata & the best huarache in LA.
