Jeffery Deitch’s HOUSE!! [VIDEO]
Jeffrey Deitch Takes Hollywood on Nowness.com
This video might be from 2010 but it’s a wonderful tour of Jeffery Deitch’s then new Los Feliz home. Deitch led filmmaker Alison Chernick and artist Jennifer Rubell through his old Spanish revival house, which is the former residence of Cary Grant and a Red Hot Chilli Pepper! He talks about his “super Tudor-pop” party room, shares his theories on celebrity culture, and his new vision for the The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. To be expected, his art collection is really cool — look for pieces by Tim Noble and Sue Webster, Aaron Young and Andy Warhol.
Built in 1929 in the Spanish Colonial Revival style, the former Cary Grant residence is in the Oaks neighborhood.
